Truth.

Such a fearsome idea, isn't it. A gigantic magnificent elephant in the room; that we all know about but never come out in the open and acknowledge. We see it, sense it, register it inside our brains, and even decipher the outcome of it all. But we never really seem capable to accept it as a fact of life and take in the guts, by sheer sportsmanship.

Not all men are born sporty. Not all men can live with their true faces out in the open for everyone to see.

We all are born capable of knowing and analyzing things that happen in our lives. If anyone says that they didn't see it coming. Pal, they are lying blatantly. Maybe they themselves not realizing that they are.

I wrote about this earlier too here in Truth About Lies. I guess coming back to this topic again might seem redundant.

But you see with what little I have been able to see in life so far. While most people just drag on with their miserable lives without ever doing anything to better it in anyway. I have also come to realize the grandiose and majestic essence that some other people bestow upon this planet by their very existence. These amazingly gifted souls don't just survive, they live!

Sometimes, when one feels like you are one of these 'blessed ones'. When you see life couldn't be any sweeter that it is right now. When you feel impervious and invincible to anything and anyone. That when it hits you. The proverbial 'curve ball' that life throws at everyone oh-so-often. It smacks you right in the guts, knocks the wind out of you. Throws you off your feet, you fall nose down butt up; the whole shebang.

You lie there on the ground, you whole body aches in more ways than you can imagine. Even places and muscles you didn't know you had, hurts like hell.

But what bothers you more are: Where the heck did that come from? How did I not see it coming? How could anyone do that to me? What did I do wrong to deserve this??

You spend weeks, even months going over the whole thing again and again inside your head. You shut everyone and everything else out and get fixated with this self-exploration voyage that only anchors you deeper and firmer into your gloom.

Well, buddy. That's just lame. Not just lame on you. But on everybody involved.

What did you expect? It was going to last for ever, this rosy patch that you were going through? How many times did that voice inside your head ask you this was 'too good to be true'? How many times did you, in your moment of sheer panic, start planning for a contingency; an escape package?

Don't lie to yourself, my friend. That is the worst you can do to yourself at this moment.

Let it go.

The more you fixate on this thing. The more importance you give to it, the more you blow it out of proportion. The more it becomes that 'Elephant' that they keep putting in each other's rooms.

It was good, yes. While it lasted, yes. Now it doesn't? Yes.

But it happened. And it was glorious, why sour it with ill-placed bad blood and abuses. Let it go.

Life does not end here. There is a lot more to see, a lot more to experience. Not all of it is going to be peachy and happy happy. Nobody can guarantee you that. But you would be living your life, your way. That is more than many out there can even dream to have.

Shit happens.
